This website is published by buildabo (“we”, “us”, “our”), a residential construction and interiors company in Bangalore. We design and build houses, interiors and renovations from one company.

This Site is a public information site. It does not require an account, it does not include a mobile application, and it does not ask for camera, contacts or push-notification permission. If we later add those products, we will update this policy before we collect that kind of data.
2. What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you:
- visit pages on https://buildabo.in/ (the “Site”);
- submit the consultation form on the Contact page;
- write to us by email, call us, or message us after you have given us a number;
- subscribe to updates using the email field in the footer, if you choose to.
It does not apply to other websites we link to (maps or social networks). Those services have their own policies.
By using the Site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not send us personal information and leave the Site.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
You are not required to give us personal data to read the Site. If you enquire about a project we need enough detail to reply. That typically includes:
- name;
- phone number;
- email address;
- what you are interested in (for example construction, interiors, renovation);
- an indicative budget band;
- a message that may include plot location, size, timeline or other project notes.
If you email or call instead of using the form, we will keep the details you choose to share — for example a plot address or drawings you attach — so we can answer you.
We do not ask for date of birth, gender, Aadhaar, PAN, payment-card numbers or biometric data on this Site. Do not send those in the form. If a later contract needs identity or payment documents, that will be a separate, written step — not this website.
Information collected automatically
When you load a page, our host and the browsers involved may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and time of visit. We use this to keep the Site working, to diagnose errors and to understand which pages are used. We do not use it to sell advertising profiles.
4. Enquiries and the contact form
The Contact page form is the main way we receive personal data. Submitting it is voluntary. If you do not provide a working name, phone and email, we cannot take the enquiry. A completed form is emailed to info@buildabo.in through a form-to-email service so the Site can stay a static brochure. That provider receives the fields you typed only to deliver the message.
After you submit, we may contact you by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp about that enquiry and related company work. We do this because you asked us to talk about a project — not to ignore a DND registration on an unrelated marketing list. You can tell us to stop and we will, except where we still need the record for a live job, a legal obligation or a dispute.
Do not use the form to send information about another person unless they have asked you to. If you share a family member’s number so we can coordinate a site visit, you confirm you are allowed to give it.
5. Cookies and third-party scripts
The Site is a static brochure. We do not run a login cookie of our own. Pages do load fonts and, on some pages, animation or carousel libraries from third-party CDNs so the layout works. Those providers may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when the file is fetched. At the time this policy was written, that includes services such as Google Fonts, GSAP, Lenis and Swiper.
You can block cookies in your browser. Some layout or motion on the Site may then degrade. We do not currently run a separate cookie-consent banner because we are not placing advertising or analytics cookies ourselves. If we add a tracker later, we will update this section and, where the law requires, ask before it runs.
Links to Google Maps for the company address open Google’s service. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply once you leave our page.
6. How we use information
We use personal data to:
- reply to enquiries and schedule meetings or site visits;
- understand the brief (location, programme, budget band) so we can say whether we can take the work;
- send project-related updates you asked for;
- keep a record of conversations that become a job;
- operate, secure and improve the Site;
- comply with law, including tax and dispute records if a contract follows.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use the contact form to build a public user directory. We do not create a marketing profile from browsing the Site beyond what the server logs above already describe.
Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) applies, we process data on the basis of your consent (the form or an email you send) and, where relevant, for performance of a request you have made or compliance with law.
7. When we share information
We share personal data only as needed:
- Inside the company — the people who will answer the enquiry or run the job.
- Service providers — for example email hosting, domain and website hosting, or a contractor who must visit the plot. They should use the data only for that task.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants or insurers, if a matter requires it.
- Authorities — if the law, a court or a valid official request requires disclosure.
- Business transfer — if the company’s assets are sold or reorganised, enquiry records may transfer with the practice, still under a privacy obligation.
We do not share enquiry data with unrelated advertisers. Project photographs on the Site are company work; they are not a licence for others to scrape personal data from this policy page.
8. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as we need them to reply, to open a job, or to keep a sensible business archive of who we spoke to — typically up to three years after the last contact if no contract follows, and longer if a project, warranty or legal claim is still live. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational period unless we must hold them for security or law. You can ask us to delete an unused enquiry; we will do so unless we are required to retain it.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal data (restricted access, careful handling of email). No internet transmission is completely secure. Do not send passwords, OTPs or card details through the public form.
10. Your rights
Subject to Indian law, you may ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal data about you;
- correct inaccurate data;
- erase data we no longer need;
- withdraw consent for further contact about an enquiry that did not become a job;
- complain to us, and if unresolved, to the Data Protection Board of India once that mechanism applies to you.
Write to info@buildabo.in with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify it is you before we act. We will respond within a reasonable time.
11. Children
The Site is aimed at adults commissioning construction or interiors. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Site after a posting means you accept the revised policy for later visits and new enquiries. Material changes that affect how we use data already collected will be described on this page.
